QUTEFS was founded in 2007 as one of the only student societies at QUT. EFS' birth was followed by significant popularity as this kind of service was previously not available at the QUT Business School. QUTEFS won several awards in youth, which has placed the society as the leading student society at the QUT Business School. EFS works tirelessly to bridge the gap between students and corporate Australia. The society procures sponsorship funding from leading graduate employers and rebates from the QUT Guild to help us in our purpose. EFS hosts a range of events from social parties to professional networking events (with over 200 attendees) and all thats in between.

EFS is proudly the most active student society at QUT, and perhaps even in the South-East Queensland region. The society had a stellar year in 2018 with students' $10 members granting them access to over 25 events - most of which we free of charge and provided students with face-to-face access to Australia's leading graduate employers.

Competitions with cash prizes, networking, professional development, social events, free coffee, panel events, firm crawls, weekly business articles, annual major publications, video-series interviews with corporates, workshops teaching students real skills - what more could you ask for with a $10 membership?
